Sadie Helms - June 2011, 8 years old
You have a special place, Dear Lord
That I know you'll always keep -
A special place reserved for dogs
When they quietly fall asleep.
With large and airy kennels
And a yard for hiding bones,
With maybe a little babbling creek
That chatters over stones.
With wide green fields and flowers
For those who never knew
About running freely under
Your sky of perfect blue.
Lord, I know You keep this Special Place
And so to you I pray,
For one special sweet dachshund
Who died quietly today.
She was full of strength and love,
And so very, very wise.
The puppy look she once had
Had long since left her eyes.
She is dearly missed, my Lord
By my husband and I.
She went to join her ancestors
To Your land that is divine
So speak to Sweet Sadie softly, please
And give her a warm hello.
She's a special gift to you, Dear Lord,
From Carol and Charlie, who loved her so.
Hildy Sloan-Branning - June 2011, 14 years old
Our dearest Hildy, today, with the help of a dear vet, you slipped away, cuddled in our arms. Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, for making us laugh, for greeting us always with gleeful enthusiasm and ever-wagging tail. You never complained. We didn't know until your last day that you were ill with cancer. Were you shielding us from what was to come? Fourteen years was a long life, but nothing could have prepared us to lose you. You were the very essence of joy and you will be forever in our hearts. We envision you now romping with your beloved Abbey who went before you! We will love you always, our darling Hildy. We are inconsolable. We love you so much, Mom and Dad
Munchkin Marie Edgar - June 2011, 10 years, 11 months old
Munchkin, you came into our lives as a five-month-old runaway puppy. We tried to find your original home, but never did - thank God for that. You became my companion, my friend, and the four-legged love of my life. You showed me so much love, you protected me all the time, you blessed me in so many ways. Everyone who knows me, knows you were my precious baby. You left so suddenly, and even though I rocked you after I knew you were gone, I still didn't want to let you go. I wanted to hold you, kiss you and smell your sweet smell. I clung to your blanket from your bed and the blanket you and I always cuddled under on the recliner. I just needed to smell your scent on them. Everyone is trying to be so patient with me, I cry at every little thing that reminds me of you. I miss you so very much and wish I had one more chance to look into your beautiful brown eyes and tell you I love you. I put a plaque up outside that says, 'You have left my life, but you will never leave my heart' . . . truer words have never been spoken. Munchkin, God blessed our lives when you wandered into them and I know you will be waiting for me when my time comes, ready to cuddle and show me the love you always did. I love and miss you so much baby girl.
Peppy Manuel - June 2011, 7 years old
Dear Peppy, we miss you, little girl. Our beauitful girl was taken from us too soon. She had a big heart and big personality. Your brothers Romeo and Dude miss you. It has been hard for us. Today will be a week and one day since you went to the Rainbow Bridge.
Sebastian Teichroew - July 2011, 14 years, 3 months old
A sudden illness took our beloved Sebastian from us and now he's playing with his brother, Ernie, in the Garden. Sebastian was abandoned at 1 1/2 years old and the day we saw him, he jumped into our arms and was forever part of our family. He loved to play with his ball, show off by standing on his hind legs and at bedtime, he would often put his paw in the palm of our hand. We are so sad and we will miss our little Sebbers.
Love, Mom, Dad, Brian and Baxter

Oscar was a curious little fellow and loved by many. Unique and special he was and is missed.
