Sadie Ashley - January 2013, 9 years old

Sadie was with us just a short time but we fell in love with her sweet personality. Her sweet face and lovely disposition even though she was so riddled with bladder cancer, she hid her condition until it was too late to do anything to help her. She will be missed and loved now that she is at the Bridge. Bye Sadie, be healthy now and happy.

Max Sitzmann - January 2013, 5 years, 3 months old

We were fortunate to have Max enter our lives in December 2009. He was the sweetest boy and such a good dog. He loved walks, lying on the rocks in the backyard instead of the soft grass, sitting by the fireplace, watching the backyard from the sliding glass door, and chasing lizards. He loved cuddling, giving kisses, being with his family, and eating anything and everything. He was the best buddy you could have.

We love you Max and we miss you!

Shelby Annabel Leigh Taylor - January 2013, 10 years old

You will forever be in our hearts, our little piglet. We miss you more and more with each passing day.

Wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge for we will one day be reunited for all eternity.

Love always,
Mom and Dad
(Kris & Joe Taylor)

Kris named Shelby after her favourite poem, and asked that it be included in this memorial.

Annabel Lee
By Edgar Allan Poe

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea,
But we loved with a love that was more than love -
I and my Annabel Lee -
With a love that the wingéd seraphs of Heaven
Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,
Went envying her and me -
Yes! - that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we -
Of many far wiser than we -
And neither the angels in Heaven above
Nor the demons down under the sea
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.

; For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling - my darling - my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea -
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

You will be forever missed, my sweet Shelby Annabel Leigh.

Butter Ludwig - January 2013, 4 years old

Butter, we all miss you very much. You were so special. You were everyone's friend. You could sit up longer than any dog I have ever seen. I'm sure you're in a better place now.
