Maggie - April 2011, 4 years old

Mommy's Christmas Holiday Present, a.k.a. 'Holly' - April 2011, 2 years, 9 months old

I am so sorry that you were taken from us so soon. You were my 'l'il bit' and were the best lap dog ever! Coming home from the beach without you in my lap was so hard. I always enjoyed those long rides. There is an empty space now that cannot be filled. You were the boss of the house and kept us all in line. I miss us going on our afternoon walks. Your legs were so small but you sure did keep up. Abby now stays by my side and is grieving for you. Peanut comforts her every day. She misses her baby sister.

Goodnight sweet Holly. We love you! Say hello to Tippy for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Peanut Patterson - April 2011, about 3 years old

On 24 April 2011, my baby, Peanut, crossed over to the Bridge. He is dearly missed. He gave us so much joy and laughter! I feel like there is a hole in my heart. He was a handsome little guy and very well-mannered doxie. On 30 March 2011 he went down and after five weeks of treatment he was suffering from IVDD, became paralysed, and eventually was diagnosed with myleomalacia. We did just about everything that we could possibly do. I know my Nut-Nut no longer has pain and is wagging that tail now that he is whole again. I am sure he knows that his mom and dad loved him very much. He was his dad's best friend and sure does miss him very much. His favourite treat was a fortune cookie his dad brought him every time we ordered Chinese take-out! And those 9 p.m. Milkbones we could never forget, 'cause he wouldn't let us. We miss you Peanut! I miss my little bed buddy, who kept me warm on those cold winter nights.

Jessie Fourie - April 2011, 11 years, 3 months old

Our dearest Jessie girl, we miss you so much. Thank you for all the love and joy that you brought to our lives. 'Til we meet again, lots of love and kisses Mommy and Daddy Fourie.
